Beginning this week, all of the local Real Estate Offices are drop off points for the 12th annual Blanket Drive.  Please consider donating clean, warm blankets, sleeping bags, sweaters, socks, hats, scarves, gloves...anything that can ease the bitter cold that the homeless endure.

South Delta Baptist Church is also collecting items for personal care - things like toothpaste, soap, wash cloths and towels, disposable razors - and are always grateful to recieve non-perishable items.  Every Saturday morning, a group goes downtown Vancouver to distribute soup and sandwiches, and these items make a person in need a lot more comfortable.

If its easier for me to stop by your home to pick up any of these items for donation, I'd be happy to do so...

Lets all remember our neighbors, and reach out to help those less fortunate - especially with this cold weather!
