A bit about Wendy…

Born in Winnipeg Manitoba, Wendy’s family relocated to Windsor Ontario when she was very young. Active in sports, she grew up with the influences of Motown, the Red Wings and Tiger Baseball. Educated at U of W – business and fine arts – she pursued a career in Photography after completing the courses at St Clair College, and a successful apprenticeship. Wendy met and married Mike in 1978. Together they journeyed to the West Coast in 1980. bio.jpg

Three daughters later, she continued as a photographer in Richmond before working in a retail art gallery and framing studio. In 1987 Wendy completed the Real Estate course at UBC and began a new chapter in her life as a Realtor. Wendy believes in the concept of being a “Lifetime Learner” She has attended many courses and seminars over the years to keep her on the cutting edge – from computer courses to Mandarin Chinese and Spanish language – sales and marketing to legal issues.

Wendy is actively involved in her church and community. At South Delta Baptist, she served in children’s and youth programs for many years, and now volunteers time to provide care and comfort to those in need. She has also worked for Delta Hospice in the Thrift Store, and enjoys being available to work on special projects and fund raisers.

For fun, Wendy still enjoys photography. She also builds bird houses and folk art from reclaimed barn wood and cedar. The workshop is a place where she and Mike spend a great deal of their leisure time, with an arsenal of power tools! Now that the girls have grown up, the extra attention is directed to her Grand Kids... Nothing gives you a better perspective on life than looking at it through the eyes of a child. "FIVE GRANDBABIES within 2 years" makes the world pretty darn cute!  Add to that, her love of her two four-legged friends - Louis & Ella, both Yorkie-Poodle mix-ups with tons of personality.
